Honestly Night City didn't go far enough with body modifications. It's like when two of the team claimed they didn't want Becca in the show because "she's a loli and loli don't exist in Night City." Like let's be real, with that much body modding available people wouldn't just be that, they'd be full on furries walking around. They'd be scalies looking for their perfect Nord. It'd be freak city. The idea that the most people would get is some gold or chrome skin is the far more ludicrous for the setting.
