The IDF says 36th Division troops now control the ridge above and below ground, after clearing two major underground routes. Hezbollah terrorists inside were either killed or fled. The tunnels are now being prepared for neutralization.

The strategic network — built over roughly 20 years with Iranian funding and planning — contained command centers, weapons stores and living quarters.

Iran had warned Washington that an Israeli offensive on Ali al-Taher would trigger a major Iranian response. Regional officials also told Reuters that more than a dozen IRGC personnel, including senior officers, had been inside, although Israel disputed their presence.

Iran drew a red line around the ridge. Israel crossed it. Now we see whether Tehran follows through.

⭕️ UPDATE — Tensions Rise Along NATO’s Eastern Flank as Belarus Mobilizes Artillery Brigade

A significant new development adds context to our earlier report on CIA Director John Ratcliffe’s extraordinary trip to Moscow.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has ordered the 51st Guards Artillery Brigade to the highest level of combat readiness.

Reserve personnel are being recalled, elements of the brigade are being brought toward wartime strength, and the unit is preparing to leave its permanent base for field operations.

Belarus has also begun separate Air Force and Air Defense exercises, including a second phase scheduled in Russia involving live-fire exercises.

Why does Belarus matter?

Belarus is Russia’s closest military ally in Europe. Moscow used Belarusian territory during its invasion of Ukraine, the two countries maintain deeply integrated military ties, and Belarus sits directly against NATO’s eastern flank — bordering Poland, Lithuania and Latvia.

The timing is noteworthy.

The Belarusian readiness operation began August 24, one day before Ratcliffe arrived in Moscow — meaning it was already underway when Washington reportedly sent the CIA director to warn Russia against testing NATO.

⚠️ There is currently no evidence Belarus is preparing to enter the war in Ukraine or that these developments are directly connected.

📌 BOTTOM LINE:

U.S. intelligence reportedly sees an increasing risk that Putin could test NATO.

At essentially the same time, Russia’s closest military ally is mobilizing reservists, placing a major artillery brigade on combat alert and conducting air-defense exercises along NATO’s eastern neighborhood.

No confirmed connection — but another development worth watching very closely.

🔴Yair Netanyahu, the son of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, was the target of an Iranian assassination plot in Florida, Newsmax reports, citing a U.S. official.

Israeli intelligence reportedly uncovered the plot last December while Yair was living in Hallandale Beach, near Miami. An Iranian cell was already operating in the area, surveilling his home and tracking his daily routine.

After the threat was discovered, U.S. authorities were urgently notified. Yair was ordered to leave immediately, forcing him to abandon his belongings and return to Israel.
