@WANYERA_simon@DuncanAbigaba My dear ! Gen Masaba from Bugisu joined army 5 years ago he still rising through ranks .. his turn is coming 😂 SFC won’t stop with Gen Asaph
The Special Forces Command (SFC) is an elite force whose primary mandate is to protect the president and his family. Off books, this force only answers to the CiC and the current CDF
SFC, formally Special Forces Group (SFG), formally Presidential Guard Brigade(PGB) and formally the Presidential Protection Unit (PPU), has only been commanded by officers from only one region of the country apart from Brigadier General Peter Candia, a man from Madi- Okolo in West Nile. The list is as follows:
1. Lt. Gen. Sam Kavuma: Mid-2000s – 2008
2.Muhoozi Kainerugaba 2003–2017.
3.Don Nabasa 2017–2019
4.James Birungi 2019–2020
5.Muhoozi Kainerugaba 2020–2021, Returned for a second stint leading the elite unit.
5. PETER CANDIA 2021–2022
6. Felix Busizoori 2022
7. David Mugisha 2022–2026
8. And now, Brigadier General Asaph Mweteise Nyakikuru, the newly appointed.
I just wanted to congratulate Afande and not to sound tribalistic 🙌
SFC has a new boss: Brig. Gen. Asaph Mweteise Nyakikuru. He’s also granted the acting rank of Maj. Gen. He succeeds Maj. Gen. David Mugisha, who heads to a National Defence College course.
@urbankyari07 Can you imagine!! If they put tools down, they should know that there are more qualified people fill those positions who are not employed
He's actually messing up we're heading for crisis in a near future, you can't do this to a public servant.
Technical people will put tools down protesting this and you'll see how the government will be pleading with them to resume work.
