Solidarity. Community. Justice. 🌹 Solidarity candidates for Common Council seek to advocate for systemic racial justice, housing, and community engagement.
It's clear Patrick Kuehl withheld information from most Ward 4 voters & lied to press so the public wouldn’t know the election was contested. Voters deserve honesty & openness—this is the opposite. He knew he couldn’t beat Jorge's labor, tenant & trans rights record in the open.

We’re running for Common Council because we believe in an Ithaca that works for the many, not the few. We’re building from the grassroots up and we’ve got a platform of real policies that we can pass to put people before profit. Will you join us? https://t.co/dCKlLoQqbv
I'm thrilled to share that the @IthSolidarity will be teaming up with @TeamAOC to show @marcmolinaro we won't sacrifice our neighbors over debt negotiations. Join us for a phonebank of NY-19 to stand with our neighbors against austerity!

While I'm very excited to be running for reelection in Ward 4, for awhile I was unsure if I would be able to.
Not because I didn't want to but because my building was bought & the rent went up nearly 40%. I couldn't afford that & most other Collegetown leases were too expensive.
Today, with this letter signed by most of Common Council, we are calling on @GovKathyHochul to pass Good Cause Eviction. Ithaca will not tolerate Good Cause Eviction's omission from the budget. Ithaca is a city of renters, it's time to start governing like it.
