Tinubu and the APC have set a mountain of numbers for the opposition to climb.
Even if the opposition merges and fields a joint ticket, the arithmetic still won’t be enough to defeat Tinubu. The progressive camp continues to expand, multiply and consolidate its support across the country.
And here is the irony: some of the loudest voices attacking Tinubu on social media will quietly walk into the polling booth and vote for him.
The opposition can rage, campaign and unite but the political ground beneath them continues to shift.
The 2027 contest will not be won by social-media noise. It will be decided by votes and the APC has already built the structure for another formidable contest.

How over 700 Anambra Water Corporation Workers Were Owed 42 Months Salary Under Peter Obi Govt

Final post on Peter Obi and I'll shift my attention to other matters temporarily, assuming Obidients won't provoke me again...
When you see Peter Obi talking about taxation, especially during the tax reform bills conversation last year and the year before, with the way he was lambasting President Tinubu and accusing him of taxing poverty, you'll think he gave tax exemption to ndi Anambra for the eight years he was our governor.
On the contrary, Mr. Peter Obi imposed high levies and taxes on struggling traders in such an arbitrary way to the point that market women had to protest to the government house in Agu Awka.
In this video, you can see a trader complaining that Obi was taxing them N9,600 per individual. To contextualise this, in 2011 Nigeria's minimum wage was increased to N18,000. So, Obi was trying to collect more than 50% of the minimum wage as tax from market women including petty traders.
This is the same Peter Obi that is fond of telling you he lifted people out of poverty.
In the video you can see Obi's SSG, Chief Oseloka Obaze trying to address the women but they insisted on hearing directly from Obi.
Despite this high levies, most of the IGR eventually found their way into private pockets.
Well, I'm glad a lot of people now know some truths about Obi's governance in Anambra State.
Let me pause here for now...
Niger State Governor Mohammed Umar Bago confirms death of 37 illegal miners in NSCDC custody. He also confirms that the commander in charge has now been suspended.

Rufai: There's evidence from the DMO that Peter Obi left N22 billion and $30 million as debts. Why didn't Obi declare them before now?
Obidient Movement National Coordinator, Yunusa Tanko: I just read to you his statement and what he handed over.
Rufai: No, no. Why didn't he declare the debts before now?
Yunusa Tanko: He has already declared what he has, and he has made it public to every Nigerian. He didn't hide anything.
Rufai: No, the debt profile. Why didn't he declare these debts before now?
Yunusa Tanko: I'm sure when you meet Peter Obi, he will be able to answer all of your questions. You would have asked him directly on this particular matter.
Lol 😆
H.E. Peter Obi, you said you owed no one. You lied. You vowed to quit your 2027 campaign if even one person was shown. Water Corporation staff protested. Records are clear; survivors still testify. Those debts are yet to be fully cleared even today.
The records are clear!
@solotizzy@Imranmuhdz Bro! You are referring to the gazetted game reserved area. The entire sambisa forest where Boko haram operate is twice the size of Belgium which is 30k(km-square). Fact check me, sambisa cover over 60k(km-square) area
@originalproflle It's professional to be ethical with your conduct especially at ones duty post. Anyone flattering the order may appear bold and strong in public but the consequences are enormous if taken up. Imagine you to own that station and bcos of boldness you have to pay N500m legal suit?
@marythesa@Imranmuhdz@ruffydfire You are not diff from Oseni R. I should not be surprised you like to describe members of your household Gbewudani. Clap for yourself
