Just saw the price of the Steam Machine... Oof... Perf less than a base PS5 at almost double the price. Nah
I get the ram shortage and stuff but no amount of upgradable ram is going to make this a consumer must buy.
I love PC gaming, but at that price, just build a desktop
According to a user on our R/Techsupport discord. A dev for that new game @PlayWindrose told them to up their pagefile to fix an overheating GPU.
Note to the devs if this is true. You cannot fix a hardware issue, with software.
Also your game runs like shit. Optimise it.
I should not be seeing reports of 45FPS on a decent midrange PC, with DLSS at 1080p, and minimum spec being a 6800, as well as telling users they need 16GB of ram and up to 50GB of pagefile
Not when your game looks worse than Expedition 33, and that runs at over 60 without dlss.
Is it how I would play, eh, probably not, I don't mind switch training and I do like the satisfaction of leveling up my pokemon. But I'm just saying I get why it was done
Hot take: I'm currently playing through the original Pokemon Silver and through playing I realised giving the experience share early in modern games actually makes a lot of sense.
Sure, there is satisfaction in training each pokemon and there is switch training
But giving the exp share early, all pokemon stay around the same level and at least the intention is that you feel like you can switch out to another pokemon and they actually will be useful.
It's true... Sorcerer wasn't introduced until 1989 with 2nd Edition. Season 5 takes place in 1987.
Will is also not a sorcerer, but a Warlock. Tapping into the powers of his patron, which is Vecna
A sorcerer is someone who has innate power from birth. Will was given his.
Ross Duffer says his 'Dungeons & Dragons' knowledge is 'embarrassingly low' for how important it was in 'Stranger Things'
โข They 'cheated' D&D progression a bit by jumping to Vecna as the show's main villain
โข Matt Duffer played 'Baldur's Gate 3' and it inspired the finaleโs idea of the entire group working together to defeat Vecna
"It wasn't actually supposed to be that big part of the show ... the kids needed reference points, and it became increasingly [more important]"

Tbh, I think Netflix needs to pull a Hamilton and put it on Netflix as a watchable show because it's so good, but it NEEDS to be seen for context. And I think it'll become way more important in the second half of season 5
The info given in the play is so critical to know Vecna as a character as well as Henry (Yes, I'm seperating them into 2 different characters for a reason, and if you have seen the play, you know why). And because of the play I probably have very different theories to others
I wanna spoil, but I also want people to go see the play. Because it is excellent.
Oh warning for my fellow tall people, the seats, no matter which ones you buy, have 0 leg room.
I'm over 6 foot tall and my legs were in pain sitting in the Pheonix Theatre.

have decided just pushed me over the edge last year and I moved over. And once Winboat has GPU passthrough for the gg app for Master Duel. That Win drive is being completely wiped.
I dual boot windows and Kubuntu using 2 seperate drives. My windows install is about as barebones as possible, not debloated or tweaked, just a vanilla install with a couple games.
Kubuntu has run fine, no issues, no crashes, nothing, even when I'm adding services
GN already shifted towards drama content long ago, so not surprised.
The Internet has some of those stupid trends from time to time and hating on Windows is the current one, despite being way more stable and user friendly than any other mainstream OS.
Yesterday, I booted up Windows to play some YuGiOh Master Duel, updated everything, ect. and the system crashed.
The SSD is fine, done all my checks, all good, it was just Windows that shit itself.
This has been my experience with Win the last couple years. And the changes they
