The mod is better than what the metrics from Sebastian suggest. I've been playing for over half an hour with my 4070 super and a 80fps cap and didn't get a single dip in the entire run. Zero. In areas where I know there were plenty of stutters before...
The war on traversal stutters has begun! I just covered a mod on @wccftech that's supposed to greatly reduce traversal hitches in Silent Hill 2 Remake, backed with some @CapFrameX perf tests that I made to prove that it actually works, at least on my PC! https://t.co/XW5UhgkxNR
Steam AI disclosure is stupid and needs to go as soon as possible since the only thing it does is hurt precisely smaller studios and send them the anti AI mob, who are a bunch of losers like the anti woke mob.
The current Steam AI disclosure is a joke. You don’t need to report AI if it’s used for productivity improvements. Before programming tools didn’t need to be disclosed and art needed. Now if you replace outsourcing art team with AI, that is technically productivity improvement.
@AeoluxJorge Nothing happens if the game is a monumental hit, then sure the anti guys have no power, but those are rare exceptions. Stuff like Expedition 33 or Arc Raiders are unicorns.
But that precisely reinforces my view...
@AeoluxJorge That is a naive view of the thing, sorry. Anti AI mob can review bomb a game, get negative reviews, then a random person checks the game (and he might not care about AI at all) but see the negative user reviews and run away.
@Brother_O4 This is cheap populism. They don't put customer first, they make the same money regardless.
If they did they would put labels for more important things, like performance related ones.
