Trade update.....
January 7, 2025. The #Reds traded minor league outfielder Mike Sirota (3rd round 2024) and a 2025 competitive balance pick to the Dodgers in exchange for Gavin Lux.
Update:
The 22-year old Sirota at High-A/Double-A this season: .339-.488-.602-1.090 with 10 HR, 36 RBI, 10 SB. In 17 games at AA, he's hitting .356 with a .506 on-base. He has a 47 game on-base streak. He's the Dodgers No. 4 prospect, ranked No. 39 overall, per MLB Pipeline.
The competitive balance pick turned out to be 22-year old OF Charles Davalan. He's at High-A hitting .279-.403-.463-.867 with 7 HR, 30 RBI and 11 SB in 51 games. He has more walks (32) than strikeouts (26) in 51 games.
The Reds saved about $2.5M in slot money by trading the draft pick.
@RatedPG6275@Darkm3w86@MLFootball Actually if people did traditional bench correctly I'd agree, but most people use way too much shoulder in traditional bench. Reverse grip forces your elbows to stay in as they should which then allows for MORE chest. Especially when it comes to bigger framed individuals
