I decided to my own dream game: a city builder auto battler!! It's called project skyshard and you can try the demo right now on steam :D
Give it a go! I'd love to get as much feedback as possible, it's still very much in development. Also please wishlist the full game <3
@en_djinn I dont know anything about the process but im so impressed with how detailed and clean those results look. Space is crazy, those things are so incomprehensibly far it's nuts
After a whole year of work, our game is out!!
Never expected to end up here when I started this little project, but I hope you give it a go and leave a nice review (:
Massive big thanks to everyone who has been supportive during the process, this is only the beginning
The game I've been working on just popped into the Popular Upcoming Releases tab on Steam! This is a fun birthday gift.
SkyShard will be on sale for the first time on Monday for $11.99, an Early Access discount.
I hope you'll check it out! Links below:
2025 has been the biggest rollercoaster so far... but here's my
2026 goals:
- run a marathon
- climb 7b (v8) grade
- officially release my own autobattler
- get some stability
- read more books
Happy new year!
Climbed my first 7b+ (V8), only took me 10 years of bouldering! Didnt expect to hit that goal so early :)
(Picture is a different route, but the 7b was also on that overhang)

Steam next fest starts tonight! Update will go live today with a few new units.
If you want to play the demo before early access launch, now's your time! It's been almost a whole year to get to this stage, I'm very proud. This week will likely decide SkyShard's future.
We dropped a big patch this week with many quality of life updates.
...and shiny new buttons! What do they do!?

in the evenings after my skyshard work, I like to experiment with tiny little projects
here's a cool stylized physics thingy based on the Obsidian graph view!
