@RQ_Spartan You won’t find your post in the Bible. Christians celebrate Christ on the first day of the week because of scripture. That’s following the practice of the early church, which did so because that was the day Christ rose from the grave. The first day: Sunday.

@PastorJChester @mercyme On the other hand, many of the promoters recruit volunteers from local churches for that reason. And they don’t ask/require you to say it from the pulpit. I’ve done this with my kids. Free tickets to the show for a little volunteer help. Pretty sweet deal. 🤷‍♂️
