@clh_strength So why is cueing “low” bad? Is everyone like this athlete? Is this your athlete you didn’t cue “low”? Understand the sentiment but hate the absolutes as an S&C
@missEmitche11 I’m curious as to why this is a thing right now. Seems like there is animosity between you two. Isn’t the job of EVERYONE on staff to make EVERYONE else’s life easier? Does the term “It takes a village” no longer apply?
@JoshReynolds24 I.E. Charles Bassey and Isaiah Joe. Flourishing in their new roles with a longer leash. You can’t praise them and then bash on Tisse because he said something about it. Similar situations all around.
@JoshReynolds24 F- take. Not always about expectations of team and city. For role players it’s hard to get into the groove of the game. When you get benched after a single missed 3 or a mistake you never have a chance to find you rhythm or where you fit into the game as it develops.
@clh_strength Don’t understand youth sports thinking playing MORE games than their pro counterparts makes sense. Especially while their still developing and not equipped for the workload.
NBA MAXES at 5 game per week, Usually 2-4. So why 5 games/week minimum in AAU. Make it make sense
@StrengthDebates Unless your sport is powerlifting then obviously it matters. Why does an athletes need to keep pushing for a 1RM. point of diminishing returns comes way before that happens
@StrengthDebates 1RM 100%. What is necessary for the athlete vs. what isn’t.
We are talking about ATHLETES not weight lifters here.
If our debate is should an athlete play their sport or 1RM then that’s an easy answer
@StrengthDebates 1RMs can be extremely dangerous as well. But the necessity isn’t there.
People act like power lifters don’t get hurt either.
Also use a Force velocity profile to project a 1RM off of a 2 or 5 point method
