नई दिल्ली स्थित कौशल भवन में आज प्रधानमंत्री कौशल विकास योजना (पीएमकेवीवाई 4.0) के अन्तर्गत एक विशेष सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें देशभर से आए 54 ट्रेनर्स और 67 एसेसर्स ने भाग लिया। ये वही कर्मयोगी हैं जो कौशल विकास और उद्यमशीलता मंत्रालय के जमीनी स्तंभ बनकर देश के युवाओं को हुनरमंद बनाते हैं और उन्हें रोज़गार, आत्मनिर्भरता और उज्जवल भविष्य की दिशा में अग्रसर करते हैं।

सम्मेलन का मुख्य उद्देश्य था कि कैसे प्रशिक्षण को अधिक प्रभावी और युवाओं के लिए व्यवहारिक बनाया जाए। सम्मेलन में हुई चर्चा में उभरती तकनीकों, आधुनिक ट्रेनिंग के तरीकों और गुणवत्ता पर विशेष बल दिया गया। ट्रेनर्स और एसेसर्स के द्वारा अपनी फील्ड के अनुभवों को साझा करने के साथ ही प्रशिक्षण की गुणवत्ता हेतु जमीनी स्तर पर सुधार के लिए उनके सुझाव भी लिए गए। सम्मेलन में ट्रेनर्स और एसेसर्स की ग्रूमिंग और उनके व्यवहार और कार्यशैली में "क्या करें और क्या न करें" जैसे पहलुओं पर भी विस्तृत चर्चा हुई ताकि वे स्वयं भी प्रेरणा के आदर्श बन सकें।

On 4th July 2024, NCVET conducted a Capacity Building Workshop for recognized/ provisionally recognized Awarding Bodies (ABs) on the development of qualifications and their alignment with the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF). The workshop aimed to strengthen the skilling ecosystem by equipping NCVET-recognized Awarding Bodies with the necessary knowledge for NSQF alignment of qualifications. It emphasized the importance of NSQF alignment and its implementation within the skilling ecosystem. The session saw active participation from various open universities across the country, as well as several State Development Missions (SDMs).

The 38th meeting of the National Skills Qualifications Committee (NSQC) was held on 30th May 2024 under the Chairpersonship of Dr. Nirmaljeet Singh Kalsi, Chairperson, National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET). Sixty-nine representatives of NCVET Recognised Awarding Bodies(ABs) participated in the NSQC and 156 Skill Qualifications were presented for the evaluation & approval of the NSQC.
