Propaganda about Europe needing AC is dangerous and must stop
Heat waves are uncomfortable, yes, but they are survivable with basic common sense
AC is a luxury that accelerates the climate crisis causing these hot summers!
Instead destroying our planet even more, we must embrace sensible solutions: staying in a shade, opening windows at night and siestas
Europeans don't "need" AC to live productive lives
Let's just accept that sometimes weather is hot (shocking, I know)
A little discomfort is a small price for being morally correct
Has everything edible been discovered?
There was a time when humans never tried an egg from a chicken, now we eat millions daily and it gives us protein.
Realistically is there anything humans have not tried to eat yet that will be considered normal in the future?
I think @nikitabier is doing a good job. Who wants old news or garbage viral videos regurgitated? There's nothing original about these accounts, nor do they care about the content they share. They just care about impressions and $$$.
@jagger___@nikitabier@alphafox He's in charge of making sure the feed stays as high quality and original as it can. Who wants old news or garbage viral videos regurgitated? I wake up about 10am
My peak time for exercise is about 5pm
I've tried earlier and I'm not as strong, later like 10pm and it messes with my sleep a bit
@SaksithCNA They’ll leave it until the last minute and then get a deal, like they did with the last Euros. The KO times are silly, so it’s only fair to get a discount.
@TeeNeeMe@KatawoutK28314 People need to respect the warnings and just stop. It's the way people think. Visit Japan and you see many many crossings just like this all throughout Tokyo. Barriers come down, people stop, train passes, people wait. Systems mean nothing if people do not follow the rules.
I think you could change the headline on this article to so many things and it would still be correct. Smartphones are the best worst invention ever. We think we need them all the time, but we really do not.
If Steve Jobs were still alive, he would have the moral authority to face and maybe even to solve this problem. But I doubt anyone in the phone business now does.
