An elderly man in Sokoto State, speaking during a burial, expressed anger over the persistent bandit attacks on rural communities, saying innocent villagers continue to be k¥lled while the government has failed to protect them.

He criticized Nigeria's leaders, security agencies, politicians, and some religious leaders, accusing them of failing the people. He also alleged that some clerics, out of self-interest, no longer speak truth to those in power.

In the emotional video, he said: "Record me. Don't be afraid. In the history of the world, I have never seen leaders who did not care about the security, welfare, and suffering of their own people as Nigerian leaders."

Tinubu Government Rescued the Oyo Pupils, But What About These Four Arewa Groups Still Held by Bandits? ~ Bulama Bukarti

Security expert Bulama Bukarti has praised the Federal Government for rescuing the abducted Oyo pupils. However, he noted that four other groups of Nigerians from Northern Nigeria, who were abducted long before the Oyo incident, are still being held by bandits.

He argued that sustained public pressure and media attention could help compel the government to secure their release as well.
