Had such a blast working with @vlad_surdea on this paper which asks when do historical legacies cease to persist, which has found its home at @JPIPE_journal. Check it out 👇🏻
The persistence literature treats historical legacies as something close to a stylized fact. My new paper with amazing @ItsLetitiaRoman challenges this view, theorising conditions under which legacies break and testing our framework on Ottoman corruption in Romanian healthcare.
