@jackiehluo@majamediaco Completely true for any group of people, but it in organizations it’s the most destructive because keeping everyone rowing in the same direction (so to speak) is dependent on the narrative that there is one objective truth
Best part of a Claude outage is that AI-slop comments on LinkedIn come to a screeching halt
(also don’t look at me like that, I have client work I do over there - I’m not there for fun)
The worst part about Invisalign is that my bottom teeth still look just like Will Ferrell’s, but now made even more noticeable because I put shiny plastic guards over them.
Reminding myself that next April, I’ll be very happy I did this.
@AJamesMcCarthy Is he a chirper or does he just give it the Kubrick stare? My cat is Gregory’s twin & he never chitters or chirps at animals, just looks at them like Alex in Clockwork Orange (it’s unsettling).
The one perk to taking audacious action is it’s pretty much invisible & everyone is unaware it’s even happening, so it’s okay if you fuck up (like, literally nobody’s gonna know)
@ItsKieranDrew I’ve traveled more in my mid-30s than I have cumulatively before then. Once I became self-employed, I go somewhere new 1-2 weeks a month to do regular life with a new view. Easily the most valued perk.
@majamediaco Definitely true of most things in most places, I think. Lots of personal skill issues are chalked up as objective fact when they are anything but. Like you said - seekers seek & find.
For the last 2.5 years I’ve been traveling for 1-2 weeks every month, so how the hell have I not yet figured out a better way to “on-ramp” to life every time I get back?
