@DanJellison @BostonDotCom @GlobeChadFinn I don't know. I look at the Angels and Mike Trout and his bloated contract with zero playoff wins and I'm happy with what the Sox are doing. Also those bloated contracts look awful on the back end. Look at Chris Davis or Albert Pujols.

@FascinatedDan @miketpaul @BostonDotCom @GlobeChadFinn Brady just wanted a 2-3 year deal so he can play til 45. Belichick wanted Brady on a 1 year deal. Brady wasn't asking for much. Betts thought 300 million wasn't enough. Root for both obviously. But for me I'm rooting more for Brady.

@BostonDotCom I know what Red Sox bandwagoners cough cough I mean fans will say. If we didn't trade Mookie this wouldn't happen. Except we missed the playoffs with Mookie in 2019. The problem isn't no Mookie. The problem is no pitching. Pitching wins titles...period. Red Sox need pitchers.

Doesn't help that he talks a big game all the time and then comes up with excuses when it backfires. I have no patience for people like that.
