📚🔥 ENGAGING PARENTS AT KEORE PRIMARY – BECAUSE PREVENTION STARTS AT HOME! 🇰🇪

Our Kisii County team was at Keore Primary School, and we came with a mission: to equip parents with the tools they need to protect their children from drugs and alcohol! 💪🏫

We rolled out the National Guidelines on Alcohol and Substance Use Prevention and Management in Basic Education Institutions – a critical framework for creating safe, drug-free schools. 📋✅

We also dug deep into:
🚨 How parents can spot early warning signs of drug use
🗣️ Building trust and open communication with children
🤝 Strengthening the parent-school partnership for prevention

Parents left the session informed, empowered, and ready to lead the charge at home. Because when parents are equipped, children are protected. 🧡

Quite dishonourable remarks by the Hon @FarahMaalimM on the suitability of nurses to lead at @MOH_Kenya or @garissahealth.Stop politicising administrative issues. @NAssemblyKE FYI doctors have had their study leave requests turned down or deferred even with a doctor at the helm!
