@DragonflyJonez I don't think Chuck would be a better fit. Dray's defensive versatility, passing, and pace unlocked everything that made the Warriors dangerous. Having a ball dominant post player who cant space the floor would've made the Warriors worse imo
If you remove the basketball from everyone, Bam Adebayo's night would rank 1st all-time.
Most points in single game
1. Wilt 100
2. Bam 83
3. Kobe 81
Most points without basketball
1. Wilt 0 (100-pt game)
1. Bam 0 (83-pt game)
1. Kobe 0 (78-pt game)

T-1. Ron Baker 0
@EugVibes @LoganPAdams It's not about Aytons individual numbers. The core idea here is that when Ayton is ON the court the Lakers offense is worse than it is with him OFF the court. Small sample but something that signals he has poor additive value on offense despite his numbers.
This is since 2020 among all qualified hitters he is a pulled fly ball scammer that can only matched by the master Isaac Paredes himself. He is focused ONLY on hitting home runs. Fairly certain whatever his BA is will be the lowest of any qualified position player MVP since 1950
Disclaimer: Either Judge or Raleigh could win MVP and I wouldn't be upset.
The thing that gets me is that the pro-Raleigh crowd is generally anti analytics and they just ignore that Raleigh's approach embodies everything that is "wrong" about hitting today.
@TonyIsNotWorthy You know if you actually paid attention to the other, slightly deeper stats you would see that the Lions passing offense was still super efficient without being high volume.
