@WAR527 It's easy for people unfamiliar with the chalk component to dunk on it. For what it's worth, it's an often complex and difficult play that has lit a lot of capital on fire with a lot of different groups.
@ManchesterUtd81 I like the video, but it's a super bull demand case coupled with a supply paralysis midstream/upstream case. I don't think $5 gas is unreasonable in a mid case for the same reasons he's speaking of, however. Markets will quickly solve anything north of that inna variety of ways.

A rapid, large-magnitude pole shift would leave unmistakable signatures in well-established paleo-geographic reconstructions โ including sediment dispersal patterns across major basins and paleowind directions preserved in eolian deposits. These records show no such disruption.
Salt dissolution rates, cavern geometries, and stresses are known values, routinely modeled with sonar surveys. Unlike nuclear plants, cavern lifespans aren't amorphous. Natural salt domes are millions of years old; these man-made caverns are <100 years old from legacy mining. Most stay fine within proven operational thresholdsโdropping below them causes damage.
