@RyanJ_KOL The chat rebuilds at whatever timestamp you jump to, forwards or backwards but it does not cache the entire chat up to that point so there won’t be much to scroll up to if you jump around a lot. If this is a feature that would make Live Replays better, let me know and I’ll add it

@HardwareSteam I’m really excited to be contributing to the BetterFrame project! I’ll continue to bring more features to StreamXR and work to ensure compatibility with BetterFrame!

BetterFrame will have StreamXR (Steam Frame YouTube) and Framecorder (Steam Frame Recorder) built in, easy to click and open no matter what you’re doing

I have a planned list of features (many from the replies of that post!) but for some of it I still have to see what’s currently possible before posting. I am only one person without revenue from all this so I don’t have people to hire to help with it, so it WILL take some time as I want human quality put into it rather than just vibe coding my way through it...
I think late November-December is a timeframe I can give for a release and I’ll continue to post updates until then. If anyone has any questions or suggestions let me know 🫡

@jxstfeli @HardwareSteam Just an FYI: Jellyfin/Plex support is planned, Music Streaming sites are planned, will look into supporting any video on any site with a basic version of the UI/UX I have now. These things just aren’t officially on the roadmap yet

@jxstfeli @HardwareSteam Right now I’m not accepting pull requests so that I can focus on getting this to 1.0 and supporting more of the mainstream sites but you’re more than welcome to fork the repo and make your version with the features you want! Would love to see what you make & possibly add it later

@Olimis2 Did you have SteamVR running BEFORE opening Chrome? If you have chrome open before starting SteamVR, it won’t detect anything. Try closing all chrome tabs and windows, starting SteamVR, THEN opening chrome
