When trans people are the current target of policies that remove discrimination protections

When trans people are routinely kicked out of their households and lack the support from their family to pursue things like higher education

If we can get an education we have to hope they won’t discriminate against us at interviews. If we get the job we have to hope that we’re not unfairly removed from the position. If we aren’t unfairly removed from the position we have to pray that we can get raises and promotions. And If we get the promotion we still have to wake up everyday and watch as the world pushes hate campaigns against us while stripping us of our rights and humanity.
