I was Gen Sec of my college student union. We had weekly satyagraha against Emergency. I was jailed in Dec 1975. There was a bandh. Principal got an IIT friend arrested under draconian MISAwho was in library. He was in jail till Congress lost. Principal expelled me from college despite I standing 1st in university.
We never abused him. He did his dharma, we did ours. I met him later. He gave me tea & explained why he did what he did. We didn't forgive him, but no galis.
