Direct from citizens on the ground — kids found in the rubble (many now orphans after parents didn’t make it) are being placed amid overwhelming calls. Volunteers stepping up, but locals say unvetted people are taking children. Numbers go disconnected when families try to follow up. Abductions happening in broad daylight with zero vetting.
