@lonightly i stumbled upon an old screenshot that i have on my phone about your story with the pink journal and the white wooden bridge in venice. on that note.. have you heard anything from philipp?
understand that some will only be able to handle older versions of you because the new you has standards that are too healed for them to understand. they’ll view your growth with questions, but how you carry your energy going forward will be all the answers they ever need.
to whom this may concern;
too many times you’ve dedicated energy to taking care of peoples gardens while neglecting the flowers growing in your own, but nothing blooms from what you choose not to water. being intentional about how you love you is how you strengthen your roots.
not everyone deserves healed versions of you, not everyone deserves to admire the flowers that’ve bloomed from the cracks in your heart, not everyone can hold you without pulling your triggers, feel no guilt for releasing what you’ve grown from to welcome in who you want to be.
i hope,
you’re able to cultivate a love so deep for yourself that nothing or anyone could ever leave you on empty, i hope you’re able to root your love in places that give it oxygen instead of suffocating it.
