@TheGamblesACE@maniaUFO Landing on the water would have been a lot worse. At that speed, hitting the waters surface would effectively be equivalent to impacting a solid surface
@MindyLouWho2@RogerIIITOSU@IAmLilRico Condescending or not, my point still stands. There is no miracle nor magic required to learn to swim. Get a tutor, take it one step at a time, and face your fears head on - it’s better than letting it fester and doing absolutely nothing about it. It could save your life one day.
@MindyLouWho2@RogerIIITOSU@IAmLilRico I’m not underestimating it. I provided potential solutions which can be a “mental unblock” that can be done in a safe environment. It’s honestly sad when people drown due to not knowing how to do something as simple as swimming. It’s a life skill worth forcing yourself to learn
@MindyLouWho2@RogerIIITOSU@IAmLilRico So if you know you can’t swim, shouldn’t that be a trigger to learn how to swim? The “struggling to stay afloat” is not a physical thing. It’s a mental skill you learn. Find a tutor, train in a small spa or something. It’s worth learning
@TwirlMasterDE@JordanEVGuy There definitely are use cases between the two. What’s happening however is that the use case for an overwhelming majority of drivers on the road is exactly where EV excels at
@JeanPerret72166@Yoann_en_VE It honestly doesn’t matter when they release the Roadster. The TAM is too small at the scale the Model Y and 3 are selling at and won’t move the proverbial needle at all. It will be a cool car, though, and probably one that is a lot more affordable than other super cars
@apu1staja@jemconsultingny@SawyerMerritt Since v14, it will pull over if it detects you aren’t paying attention and potentially still give you a strike because you should be paying attention. If it doesn’t realise you are incapacitated, it will probably continue driving you to your destination and park
@mikegapinski Awesome. That’s another one to the list of items to retrofit after front bumper cam, V2L charging port, and motorised thigh support for the chair!
@Brandon04351455@wholemars@OGMarsLife@Tesla I actually like using the passenger air vents pointing at the driver side. I would like for it to detect a passengers and switch between passenger and no-passenger vent direction profiles
