Today, @KAIKAKU_AI is joining REEF.
We engineered the autonomy. REEF built the platform and scale to deploy it, having raised more than $1.5B from investors including @SoftBank and @Mubadala.
We're not here to merely to build an impressive robot. We're here to prove that the technology was ready, the unit economics worked and the only thing left was scale.
REEF is that scale.
More soon.
Meet Alesia: the only AI Copilot designed for physical intelligence in restaurants, powered by computer vision.
We know restaurant ops aren't numbers on a dashboard as it has unpredictable human dynamics. So we trained her on 20,000+ hours of physical computer vision data and trillions of data points.
Results: 90% demand prediction accuracy, 50% food waste savings and 30% increase in customer return rate since we launched her as a prototype.
The future of restaurants isn’t human vs. machine - it’s human with machine.
And for every operator who’s ever closed a shift in tears at 2am: Alesia is just the beginning.
3 patent filings, 20+ granted design rights, and 2500+ Onshape commits.
Like SpaceX, we developed every component from scratch = 90% cost savings.
Built in a few months by 3 engineers locked in a room with no sunlight in the middle of London.
Stress-tested daily in a live restaurant: we build, serve, wash, iterate.
The world's leading operating platform rewriting the restaurant labour model.
Coming in 2025.
Fully articulatable (once a lot of support removed) print-in-place 5DOF robot arm by @therobotstudio.
Haven’t finished cleaning it up, had to share it as soon as it moved. 3.5 hours on my BL A1 mini.
Insane.

This little guy is made from a bunch of $400 all-in-one actuators (reduction, driver, even water cooling inc.). Similarly priced if not cheaper than Chinese counterparts (e.g: T-Motor). Very cool from Westwood Robotics #ICRA2024
