“Christmas is about family.”
Yes! It’s about the unique moment in history when God asked an unwed young woman to give birth to a child who would create a family of God not defined by biology, race, gender, or social status.
What good news for the lonely and forgotten.
The root of the problem is not that young Christians aren’t having kids early enough but that they aren’t taking discipleship seriously enough … It’s not that they aren’t growing up, but that they aren’t growing up into him.

I'm all for responsible, honest critiques of Christians, but I'm seeing folks on here literally claim no Christians personally care for an "unwanted" child. Fam, about half of the refugee resettlement agencies are Christian. Christians essentially invented the idea of a hospital
Thank goodness the value of human life does not depend on any person's opinion, reflection, wish or regret, but on the word of love that goes from God to each and every human being. Even when you do not value your own life, God treasures you. If only we could see us like God does
If you say: I believed in God, I trusted God, and He didn't come through-You only trusted God to meet your agenda, not a God who could set your agenda.
Frodo: “I wish it need not have happened in my time.”
Gandalf: “So do I, and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
