@jmstritch1 @SebJilke Sadly that I can't come due to the quarantine measures in China. I don't want to be quarantined for more than 28 days again within a short period of time.
@GGVanRyzin@RutgersSPAA Thanks Gregg! Sadly that I coudn't join because of the travel restrictions. Will definitely visit SPAA again whenever possible!

Job search is not an easy task especially under the pandemic. Fortunately, I got helped from @SebJilke and many people (The list is too long for a tweet). So it’s time for me to help back: If you want some materials (e.g., actual interview questions) just let me know!

I'm happy to share that in the coming year, I will be joining @ASUPubAffairs & @asupublicsvc at @ASU as a tenure track Assistant Professor working at the campus in Haikou, China (a city just next to my home in Hong Kong). Really looking forward to the new journey!
So humbled to share a piece of good news. Our research proposal with @DanbeeLee1, "Bureaucratic Reputation, Whistleblowing Management, and the Roles of Accountability Institutions," is receiving the 2021 APSA Paul Volcker Junior Scholar Research Award @apsapublicadmin.
It is a great honor to be awarded with the Volcker Junior Scholar Research Grants. Many thanks to @hongtao_yi@miyeon_song and Prof. Frank Thompson's nomination, and to @apsapublicadmin's support for this study.
Our results are very encouraging. But the data collection process reminds us the importance to have a better reporting standard for experiments or even all quantitative studies. Plus, this should NOT be the final p-hacking check.
#ScholarSunday@danyao_li is a PhD candidate at @IUONeillSchool. Her interests include race & gender and law enforcement. Read some of her awesome work on traffic stops and I can't wait to see it in print. https://t.co/vVkateOVU1
Are more options always a good thing?
In our @PAReview paper (with @SebJilke & @_Oliver_James_ ), we argue that facilitating minimal user choice is preferable to having no choice, but further increasing options may not bring additional benefits.
