The pump attendant at Total-mbarara filled 30 litres of petrol into the Plaintiff's Range Rover instead of 30 litres of diesel as the Plaintiff had asked. Today, Justice Allan Nshimye has handed down a detailed judgement discussing the law of negligence & principal-agent relationship (actions of an employee in due-course of business to bind the employer). The suit has succeeded as against TOTAL ENERGIES & several awards given in favor of the Plaintiff.
