Everyone know the secret formula of how India won the 2026 t20 WC:
After losing embarrassingly to South Africa on a turner BCCI went back to preparing flat pitches for their mediocre batters to pad away their glory.
The way they won the t20 WC this year was an absolute disgrace. Paid t20 WC Champions!!
New note on Sony's Asian Games coverage:
During archery I saw stark difference in quality between foreign commentators on sport-specific stream & Indians on India Stream 1
I think lot of us sports fans would prefer the accented comms than half-baked, ill-informed Indian voices
2026 INDIA — ASIAN GAMES DISASTER.
TENNIS — PATHETIC. WORST.
ZERO MEDALS — first time since 1986.
ATHLETICS — BELOW PAR.
Only ONE GOLD. We failed to retain our previous performance.
BADMINTON — DISASTER.
ZERO INDIVIDUAL MEDALS.
SHOOTING — FAILURE IN AIR EVENTS.
Rifle & Pistol not at the expected level. Trap shooting delivered more golds thanRifle & Pistol combined.
SQUASH — BELOW EXPECTATIONS.
Only individual medals — no gold, and we missed multiple medals compared with previous Games.
ARCHERY — MISSED OPPORTUNITIES.
Compound archery fell short of the previous Games’ gold-medal dominance, with multiple silvers also missing this time.
ROWING — DISAPPOINTING.
Four medals previously → just ONE this time.
EQUESTRIAN DRESSAGE — UNDERPERFORMED.
And this is not limited to these disciplines.
MEN’S HOCKEY: 3–0 up against Pakistan → 3–3 → barely won 4–3.
MEN’S VOLLEYBALL: 0–3 loss to Pakistan.
Too many disciplines. Too many setbacks.
WHERE IS THE PROGRESS?
WHERE IS THE CONSISTENCY?
WHERE IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY?
Sports Ministry. SAI. National Sports Federations.
WE WANT ANSWERS.

Meet the most overrated and cringe girl in the world, an Indian shooter and her name is Manu bhaker
She won a bronze medal at the 2024 Olympics completely by fluke, and back then, people put her on a pedestal.
Since then, she hasn't won a single medal in any event to this day.
And all she does is upload cringe posts with cringe captions on Instagram.
Recently, she finished 11th in the Asian Games.
This is why you should never put someone on a pedestal just because of a single event
Nowdays Woman achieves something by fluke and doing too much drama after it, hope indian people understand this
The Deepika Kumari Paradox.
Her career throws up a fascinating pattern.
At the Olympics:
2012 - 33rd
2016 - 9th
2021 - 8th
2024 - 7th
4 Olympics. 0 individual medal.
Yet at World Cups, she has repeatedly shown that she can beat the very best.
11 World Cup stage golds including 4 individual golds + 5 World Cup Final silver medals and a Final bronze.
In 2021, just before Tokyo, she won individual gold in Guatemala and then went to Paris and won 3 golds in the same World Cup stage, individual, women's team and mixed team.
She arrived at Tokyo as the world No. 1. She still could not get past the quarterfinal :((
In May this year, Deepika helped India win the women's recurve team gold at the Shanghai World Cup, beating Korea and then China. She even shot the decisive final arrow under pressure.
But weeks later, in India's Asian Games selection trials, she finished 4th and missed the Asian Games team. She lost the final spot to Ankita Bhakat in a shoot-off.
So here is the question I find genuinely fascinating: If this is about handling pressure, shouldn't 15+ years at the highest level make it easier?
Maybe technical excellence and the ability to reproduce that excellence when the stakes are highest are two completely different skills.
I do not know the answer :((
But Deepika Kumari might be one of the most fascinating case studies in elite performance psychology in Indian sport.
Fans are more disappointed than athletes and coaches.
FACT.
Shooting coach is very happy with performance,
whereas we think its a disaster
We are so disappointed that Ancy Sojan didn't win gold, considering she has been jumping so much better this year. But, she is celebrating like she won Olympic medal.
Gulveer has done tremendously well, but I have not seen anyone celebrate a 2nd place with arms outstretched, before even the race finished.
Many such examples...
I don't know may be our athletes and coaches don't have high expectations from themselves. That's not a winner's mindset !!
Watch Neeraj Chopra, watch PV Sindhu. The hunger the commitment and the expectations from themselves are at another level.
Need a miracle.
A big miracle.
Hoping against hope.
That @SonyLIV doesn't get rights for the LA Olympics.
I can't tolerate this abomination during another multi-sports event.
India is not a sporting nation. Far from it.
And we seem to be going backwards.
Forget about China, Japan and Korea.
Now we are falling behind countries like Thailand, Iran, Kazak, Uzbek,Bahrain etc.
As an Indian sports fan, you realize that atheletes like Neeraj Chopra and P.V. Sindhu are huge exceptions, who achieved greatness at a global level despite our terrible system.
I would request the newspapers and journalists to really go after the Govt. and the Sports administration over this gigantic failure at these Asian Games.
Hold them accountable !!
@TheKhelIndia Why people focus on her? She dont even has a mindset of athlete! The selection procedures in India for all the sport needs proper regulations and monitoring! Our performence will be worst like this Asian games, if we dont fix these.
@TheKhelIndia Why the fuck thus Priyanka Goswami is selected
Waiting tax payers money
Instead of investing on her we could have invested on any young footballer
Ban this chomdi Priyanka guseami
