Dear @mtnug , the moment someone calls customer care, it means they need help. There's no need for your useless self help explanations, the option to speak to your guys must come first. Tell me why I can't buy UEDCLGBTQ tokens🤥
I have an issue with how the Male gender is handled, this is an incident where a young boy was found with a young girl in a lodge in Masaka and the two are said to be students
The incident was covered by NBS , and my question is one, why would the girl’s face be covered and the boy is not
I think the Male Gender is being mishandled and treated unfairly in the name of being fair to the Female Gender
This should stop, Men’s rights matter just like women’s, if you believe us to be equal, let’s entirely be equal
MY SON RETURNED FROM THE UK WITH A MASTER’S DEGREE. THREE YEARS LATER, I WAS STILL GIVING HIM POCKET MONEY
Andrew had always made his mother proud. Good schools in Uganda, a degree, then a Master’s in Marketing and Strategy from the UK.
Tuition. Accommodation. Air tickets. Pounds painfully converted from Uganda shillings.
When he graduated, the photographs travelled through every family WhatsApp group.
Mission accomplished.
Three years later, Andrew was 31 and his mother was still giving him pocket money.
He lived rent-free in a family apartment. She had bought him a Toyota Premio. Sometimes Mummy even provided fuel.
Yet Andrew wasn’t lazy. Every morning he searched for jobs: Marketing Manager. Business Development Manager. Strategy Officer.
He applied and applied.
Once he was offered a sales job.
“Mummy, after everything I studied in Britain, you want me to become a salesman?”
Then his mother met Uncle Rwamiti.
“My son has failed to get a proper job.”
Uncle Rwamiti asked about the apartment, car, fuel and pocket money.
Then he said: “Madam, perhaps your son doesn’t have an unemployment problem. He may have an activation problem.”
A few days later he met Andrew at Horizons Café.
“What can you do?”
“I have a Master’s degree in Marketing and Strategy.”
“I didn’t ask what you studied. I asked what you can do.”
Silence.
“Can you help somebody sell more tomatoes?”
Andrew laughed.
“I am serious. Can you help a small manufacturer find customers?”
“Yes.”
“Then perhaps you are not unemployed. You are waiting for somebody to give your knowledge permission to work.”
Uncle Rwamiti gave him an assignment: stop applying for jobs for two weeks. Find five businesses with sales problems. Choose one problem. Solve a small piece of it.
Andrew found a small furniture manufacturer with beautiful products and terrible marketing.
He improved the photographs, created a catalogue, followed up old enquiries and contacted potential customers.
Within weeks, an order came.
At month’s end the owner handed Andrew UGX 500,000.
Andrew called Uncle Rwamiti excitedly.
“They paid me!”
“Congratulations. Your Master’s degree has finally crossed immigration.”
That UGX 500,000 mattered because somebody other than Mummy had paid Andrew for value created.
One client became two. Two became four.
He made mistakes. He learned. He stopped introducing himself by where he studied and started asking:
“What problem can I solve?”
Eighteen months later, his mother sent him UGX 300,000.
Andrew returned it.
“Why have you sent the money back?”
“Mummy, I’m okay. I don’t need pocket money anymore.”
His mother cried.
Her son wasn’t rich. He had become independent.
Later she asked Uncle Rwamiti: “What did you do to my son?”
“Nothing. I helped him discover that a degree is not a job.”
“And what changed?”
“Problem. Solution. Action. Trust. Repeat.”
Perhaps some educated adult children don’t need another degree, connection or envelope from Mummy.
They need help crossing the bridge between knowing something and making something happen with what they know.
That bridge is Knowledge Activation.

Mbarara being ranked among the top districts with high rates of HIV, Apostle Grace Lubega should camp there for just one week and save lives. Isn't it?👀👏
@okoliecollins5 Yeah, a friend that worked in oil and gas industry said they encounter similar issues.
He talked about the one their company had to fly Indian into the country for some rituals. Their drilling machine can't drill further down and was also developing faults usually.
The Phaneroo people landed on my Tweet castigating the other lady who claimed their pastor healed an HIV/AIDS patient and now my mentions are blowing up with Bible verses.
People need to appreciate that there is a fundamental risk of tweeting such stuff. In the 90s when the HIV/AIDS scourge was ravaging the population, one of the problems Ministry of Health fought against was Pastors & traditional healers who constantly claimed they cured the disease.
Many people lost their lives because they believed they’d been cured by their pastors and therefore they went off medication. To this day, we lose people simply because they replace taking meds with prayer and fasting.
It’s very dangerous to create the impression that your pastor cured a patient because what you’re communicating to other patients is that they don’t need to take medication, they just need to locate your pastor.
Therein lies the problem.
If you’re an HIV/AIDS patient, it’s okay to have your pastor lay hands on you but please, do not under any circumstances stop taking medication.
As of now, there is no known cure for HIV/AIDS. However, the virus can be fully managed through medication, lifestyle change & discipline. Short of that, you’re at risk of the disease spreading through the body & wiping out immunity hence leading to death.
Phaneroo people & their pastor are going to undo decades of hardwork put in by many people to teach the population about how to manage HIV/AIDS.
Believe in your God, worship him, hold hands and sing Kumbaya, but please do not spread falsehoods about HIV/AIDs. It is still a dangerous disease & must be treated as such.
All of you need to be arrested. We’ve spent decades normalising testing, treatment, ARVs, undetectable viral loads and reducing stigma, only to have such people reduce all of that progress to a miracle cure. We really shouldn’t be taking ourselves backwards like this.
@doraforchrist Can we pattern with @aidscommission so that your so-called Apostle heals all HIV/AIDS patients in the country and @GovUganda will channel that budget meant for AIDS to other development projects? 🙄🙄🙄🙄
No offense but your pastor knows that money doesn’t come through praying.
That is why he opened up a church with many branches and organising more weekly programs so that you keep walking to the altar to claim it with the little you have.
Gov't had "No" capacity of purchasing a software of Ugx 5,000,000,000 to start collecting toll fees on the Entebbe expressway.
So, through UNRA/Ministry of Works, Gov't contracted Egis at a contract fee of Ugx 122,000,000,000 to collect toll fees on behalf of Gov't.
😭😭😭
So, Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng woke up one day, had breakfast, ate lunch, drank some water, and decided to stop paying medical interns?
Then went back home and slept as if nothing had happened?
Like seriously? 🤔
When you make marriage expensive, you make fornication cheap.
If fornication becomes cheap, single mothers sprout out. If single mother's sprout, feminine men and unfeminine women will be made.
Then, we all lose.
Today, like HIV, almost every family has a single mother.
Museveni- You, the Banyankole, are damaging the population with this thing of paying bride price. Why ask for 15 cows and millions of shillings? Why are you selling your children? You make young people fear marriage and, unfortunately, some begin their lives together in debt.
