No one talks about the struggle for content in this space. Unlike IRL where you can kind of disappear for a couple of days, Vtubing is one of those mediums where you have to consistently show up. Day after day.

In doing so people take shortcuts to creating content or stay relevant. It’s a difficult space to be in. Something I see creators do is drama farming, ganging up on others, and generally being negative because it’s an easy way to get likes and views. This is low hanging fruit and a generally weak mindset in my honest opinion. It just reminds me that some creators priorities aren’t actually creating, building, informing or fostering a good environment.

They genuinely don’t have anything worthwhile to say and have no purpose outside of bringing others down for clicks and views. Similar to bot farms, they only speak in order to garner a reaction.

This apps algorithm rewards divisive conversation. Remember that and be wary creators like this.
