@Tynach I dropped to 29 pounds as a 7 year old, and pretty much everyone was freaking out because my ribs were visible from my back.
And no matter how many doctors or therapists I saw, I refused to eat.
My funny trauma comes from when I was in preschool.
During lunch, one of the things we were frequently given alongside the main dish was spinach.
...
CANNED spinach.
3 year old me HATED it. The texture made me gag, and the flavor wasn't good. So I always refused to eat it.
@Tynach I actually had an eating disorder as a kid too.
Uh, not because of self image, actually. I swallowed some food I didn't chew enough, and I didnt like the sensation of that going down.
So my autistic brain said to chew more. And then this quickly devolved into a fear of eating.
The teachers weren't happy with that. So when I refused to eat the spinach, they refused to let me out to recess that was immediately after lunch. I would sit in the lunchroom the entire recess.
Once that didn't work, they resorted to force feeding me.
The UK is full of a bunch of prudes.
For stuff like CSAM, we all understand why that's illegal.
But if everyone is a consenting adult and no one gets hurt... why are you banning it?
What does that accomplish?
Twitter used to be a place where you could upload your art for everyone to see, but now they actively punish artists because they'd rather promote engagement slop.
This is what happens when money is your only concern, despite already making millions.
Stumbled on this post again. Reminded that I got an animation from an asian artist that was done within 2 weeks. However, an american artist for a fullbody flat-color image has taken nearly 4 years to even send a WIP, but posts personal work nearly daily.
