@irose_R2 I really like how Dark Souls represent fire. It's primarily a symbol and tool of rebirth. It is a creator, It is a healer, it is a brief reprieve from a doomed world, and it is safety and warmth. but those who take its power for granted are destroyed by it.

@johnnarae I think there was definitely extistenial dread around nuclear weaponry and cold war powers, lbj won a second term partially via fear mongering a potential nuclear war if his opponent won, but I think mostly people have not been worried about democracy falling from within.

@underscoreboi @SukritGanesh @DavidZavac there was definitely a cost to making the empire short lived, it feels less like a long-held institution and more like a normal dictatorship. that being said It allowed for Vader and Palpatine to be humanized, making Vader's redemption and Palpatine downfall feel more realistic.

@SaffronOlive hmm, you have to storm off pre combat go through combat, empty your mana pool, and then cast a spell. a bit awkward in a way that makes it a bit more interesting.

@SaffronOlive a format needs to have meta control, midrange, and aggro decks. deck building must allow for creativity and diversity even among meta decks. rogue decks/brewing should be viable even if they are lower tier.
