Knowing what you know now about your job and how it can impact on you, what is the one thing you would have liked your partner/parents/friends/family to have known or know to support you the best they can? 💙#wellbeing#support

A wellbeing programme for investigators in Essex Police and Kent Police, which combines awareness and training with one-to-one meetings and online resources, has been highlighted as good practice by the College of Policing; Health and Wellbeing Delivery Manager Janine Jury spoke to Policing Insight’s Sarah Gibbons about how the programme works, the buy-in from officers and senior leaders, and the potential benefits for victims as officers “pay forward” the compassion they’ve received.

I’ve loved my time on Twitter, especially the policing community & all the amazing opportunities I’ve had to interact with people & build positive professional relationships. Since X, this has changed so I’m closing my account & will be over on LinkedIn. Take care all 💙#goodbye

Went on a mission today with my 2 to find my Grandparents grave in Woolwich Cemetery. We found it!
The pot was half buried with just my grandads name, Billy Hart. No mention of Winifred who died in 1955 during childbirth. We shall remedy that. So pleased to have found it 🙏💛
2 hours ago I was dropping out of my Masters & feeling like a failure as I’ve not been able to write anything in 2 days.
My 13 year old steps in. He’s helped me with hyperlinking in-text (it’s a social media critique) & I’m up & running again! Life lessons 😂 #DontGiveUp
After 24 years, it sometimes feels harder than ever to make a dent for the positive for colleagues wellbeing at work. Then I deliver a TRiM course with amazing dedicated colleagues, & all feels right in the world. Congrats to the Kent Police 2024 TRiM cohort 💙#TRiM#PeerSupport
Joker 2 is a complete deconstruction of the first movie and this Joker character.
I liked it.
Look behind the chaos to find the meaning & give yourself time to process it and hopefully you’ll see how great it really was.
Joaquin was incredible.

24 years I ago I started out in policing in an administration role. Such an opportunity, rich in experiences to be had.
This week, my daughter started work in an admin role in policing and I couldn’t be more proud of the professional she is.
Gratitude to all police staff 💙
