@Ashleyychapman@The_Forty_Four It’s all up in the air at this point, I obviously have a bias but I’d say the fairest thing for all parties involved is if goals like that are disallowed. Fair enough if it doesn’t lead to a goal, don’t say it’s a hand ball but when it does, it just feels wrong imo.
@Ashleyychapman@The_Forty_Four The FA rules are here where it says even if it’s accidental, if it leads to a goal or a goal scoring opportunity, then it’s an offence. Mike Dean came out and said he wouldn’t have given it.
@Ashleyychapman@The_Forty_Four It’s deemed as an accidental handball but that alone isn’t enough for it to be an offence, what is enough for it to be an offence is the fact a goal scoring opportunity was created directly after it
@Ashleyychapman@The_Forty_Four It’s the rules I’m talking about that supersede it, it’s only IF an accidental handball leads to a goal scoring opportunity that it’s still an offence
@Ashleyychapman@The_Forty_Four It literally says it in your screenshot that it is punished if it occurs immediately before a major goal-scoring opportunity, how are you not seeing this?
@Ashleyychapman@The_Forty_Four I’ll say it again, IFAB set the rules and the FA interpret them. The FA’s interpretation is that even IF a handball is accidental, if it leads to a goal scoring opportunity OR if the arm is making the body unnaturally larger, then it’s a handball offence.
@Ashleyychapman@The_Forty_Four It’s your whole argument because you can’t see past it, probably because it dismantles your argument entirely. The fact it hit his leg first does not matter if he created a goal scoring opportunity OR if his arm is in an unnatural position, and it’s been deemed unnatural before.
@Ashleyychapman@The_Forty_Four You’re in an echo chamber trying to justify the attribution of it being an “accidental” handball when I’ve never contested that point whatsoever.
@Ashleyychapman@The_Forty_Four Penalties are given 24/7 for deflections, might be a bit of inexperience shining through on your end considering when you’re not in the prem you’ve not got VAR. Accidental handballs are only relevant if the player did not create a GSO or if the arm is in a natural position.
@Ashleyychapman@The_Forty_Four Again, penalty kicks are awarded against players who have their arm in the exact same position time and time again as they are deemed to be making their body bigger and therefore gaining an unfair advantage regardless of if the handball was accidental.
@Ashleyychapman@The_Forty_Four IFAB set the rules, the FA interpret them, and the FA’s interpretation of said rule, includes that it should be disallowed if the accident handball leads to a goal scoring opportunity in a short period of time which it did.
@Ashleyychapman@The_Forty_Four Haven’t even mentioned the fact that there’s an entire debate to be had about whether or not his arm isn’t making his body unnaturally bigger which is hilarious considering his arm has turned into a Tetris piece.
@Ashleyychapman@The_Forty_Four Ah yes, the fact your source is from AllLeedsAway absolutely changes nothing does it considering it’s definitely not a cropped image of a rule. The official rules state that even if the handball is deemed accidental, if it lead to a goal scoring opportunity, it must be ruled out.
@Ashleyychapman@The_Forty_Four “Knowledge of the game” when the image you’ve sent is, is saved from TikTok, bit of a self report there mate, it’s far easier to find the actual official rules on the FA’s website which you’d clearly already know if you had “knowledge of the game”. You haven’t got a clue.
@Ashleyychapman@The_Forty_Four You’re spouting so much nonsense for someone who’s source is from TikTok, no one but Leeds fans would ever think about justifying that decision.
@wwSinclairww@overandoutnerd It visually from the upside down as it would be confusing for everything not only the GA if the new dimension looked just like the upside down as shown in the images posted in this thread
@wwSinclairww@overandoutnerd The very fact that bullets, rockets etc effect him should be indicate that the Flayer is weaker in this dimension. However, the fact they don’t say “wow it’s warm” should indicate that it is in fact, not warm despite the colouring of the dimension which is likely to separate 1/2
