In 1987, @Kojima_Hideo's Metal Gear let you hide under a cardboard box. "All Ghillied Up" in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare brought that immersive sniper experience. At Halo LAN parties we'd play shotties only and every match was decided by pure skill.

Those three things shaped the game I've always wanted to make: blending into your surroundings, the tension of the hunt, and the level playing field of everyone using the same weapon.

That's what I captured in Ghillie Wars. Your instincts on how to move, when to move, and where to move decide how long you survive. Your skill with the rifle decides whether the shot hits. Patience is at the heart of this game.

Ever wonder why spamming kills on a Friday night is not as fun as it used to be? It's because it's all been done before. It's the same experience being sold over and over. What if every kill counts? What if gamers are challenged in a new way? That's what Ghillie Wars answers. A game made by a gamer for gamers.
