I gave blood yesterday, and had to fill in a form beforehand. The form asked me if I was pregnant (amongst other questions). Rather than go crazy, I ticked 'no' and moved on, as I realise it's easier to make a one-size-fits-all chart than to worry about hurting men's feelings.

I also remember being asked this when I was much younger and I always found it funny when I was a teenager. The NHS aren't suddenly asking men if they're pregnant - they've always used forms which ask a variety of questions.
