Completely inappropriate statement. Now THAT constitutes political interference.
Good thing there are panel members who couldn’t GAF what that twat thinks.
@themagic_tophat@nigel_b_golf Too bad CAS had access to the original conversation, looked into it and still decided that there wasn’t enough evidence to prove the allegations true. Sounds like hacked emails don’t hold that much weight!
@nigel_b_golf@themagic_tophat doubt it, it’s insanely difficult if not impossible to show that ADUG and not the ADG provided funding to the sponsorship companies.
that’s what happens when you have owners who heavily invest into the community and area instead of american owners who exist to take money out of the club
In 2024 Andy Burnham said Everton had “better potential owners out there” and raised “real concerns” over 777.
Now, after City were found guilty of 100+ PL breaches, he says he’d be “really concerned” if City lost their owners.
Some contrast. 🤔
@ognahs_@TridgeTV again not true. during the CAS appeal, City submitted additional evidence, including witness testimony, evidence from people connected to the relevant sponsorship arrangements, City’s accounting evidence, and an expert accounting report prepared for the CAS proceedings.
@themagic_tophat “City cannot appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). But they could go to the High Court and argue that the process has not been fair and impartial.”
