Ruben Amorim didn’t fail at man utd. He came, saw and tried to build a team with an identity instead of just riding on a very short glory stint like most of his predecessors since SAF. His 3-4-3 wasn’t just a formation, it was a big test to who could handle the physicality and intensity of modern football, those who couldn’t were botted out immediately with more on their way to join that list this summer. He prioritized players that could fit in and for the first time since the days of SAF the system was the star not the signings.
He tried to give United back something it has lost since the days of SAF but this fanbase is addicted to the chaos to handle a plan, either you like it or not “Amorim’s Way” was the only path that has successfully made our players to not only play like professionals but they act and live it.
Carrick ball go tear ACL.
No side way passes
No back passes
Just forward passes
Tight possession
Ball control
Spectacular and intentional Build up
No sitting deep and waiting for counter
Ladies and Gentleman, Amorim ball 🤩🔥

5 months of sacking a manager who wanted more for Manchester United. A man that was hated for not playing DNA football that doesn’t win trophies. A manager that was hated for not playing one Carrington Seedorf. A man that was hated for throwing away Legend Rashidi.
He was sacked and replaced by a failed Middlesbrough head coach when there were multiple available managers.
Y’all are celebrating now but I’d be here to celebrate when the failed Boro coach is thrown away too. 👍
I miss you Ruben and I can’t wait for your Sabbatical to be over. 😭
Alejandro Garnacho spent a year training alongside his idol Cristiano Ronaldo, yet he couldn’t learn a thing or two about mentality and work ethics.
All he did was copy his celebrations and grew in aero. Many can copy the celebration but only a few can emulate the standards that made Ronaldo who he is.
Talent is never enough.
Don’t be surprised when Amorim returns from his sabbatical leave after United sack both Carrick and Wilcox and Omar starts pushing for him again. I believe Amorim is made for man utd and he’ll eventually live that dream 💯.
🚨🗣️ Omar Berrada: “He [Ruben Amorim] did help RAISE the standards in the dressing room.
“So, I think he deserves a lot of CREDIT for that, and I do think that he's going to be a successful coach, and I wish him all the best.
“But, we did FEEL that we needed to make a change, and in the end, it's worked out with [Carrick]” #MUFC
Under Amorim:
• Mbeumo
• Cunha
• Šeško
• Lammens
Under Carrick:
• Hayden Hackney
• Ederson
And some people still want to convince me we’re moving in the right direction?
The only version of Bruno that will start in this psg team is the one that played under Amorim in a midfield 2.
The Bruno that was calm and allowed other players to decide games, this current version under Carrick will make this psg team look bad.
He won’t start for psg madam, Enrique will rather have Zaire Emery than have Bruno in his midfield 3.
Bruno >>>> all 3 midfielders though individually
This might be the most unpopular opinion among Manchester United fans.
The person I blame most for what happened after 2013 is Ferguson himself.
Not because he retired.
He earned that right.
But because he chose Moyes as his successor.
Pep Guardiola was available.
A once-in-a-generation manager. Now look at what he has done at City.
Instead, Ferguson personally pushed for Moyes.
The club trusted his judgment.
And the rest is history.
The decline.
The identity crisis.
The endless rebuilds.
One recommendation changed the direction of Manchester United for more than a decade.
Ferguson built the modern Manchester United.
But his final decision may also have caused its biggest decline.
