Instead of "let's live frozen in time", the approach should be bring those ideas forward to the modern day and what would it look like.

@JDVance Except this isn't legitimate. Congress makes new agencies. Congress decides how money is spent. The legislature proposes and the executive disposes.
I'd try to invoke the spirits of the soldiers Donald is spitting on, but we all saw him literally step on them so...

@yvonnalynn @Holly_A_K @KurtSchlichter That bureaucracy was how the US didn't have an oligarch until now. The Constitution says Congress creates Executive Branch agencies and Congress decides how money is spent. The echoes of Donald's oath of office were barely gone before he was breaking it.

@KurtSchlichter @JDVance If you were good then you would know that Donald is breaking the law, the Constitution, and his oath. An EO does not have the power of a properly enacted law nor can an EO override such a law. Congress created USAID and apportioned money. The president can't override that.

@SeanALarabee @KurtSchlichter If you read a lot about the Constitution then you should know Congress makes decisions about who to give money to and Congress creates Executive Branch agencies and departments. Congress already said money is to be spent on aid. The president can't override that.

Stop just talking about rules and the system. The rules don't work if only one side is using them. Say with your whole chest that Donald is violating the Constitution, breaking the law, and has the MAGAs in Congress lying for him.
