Fun fact, the person responsible for this is a Russian asset, Gerhard Schröder (see 2002 Atomgesetz) and the purpose of the move was to ensure German energy dependence on Russia.
He became chairman of the board of Rosneft and NordStream, and was about to join the board of Gasprom before the war started. He made tens of millions from Russian energy companies and pro-Putin lobbying. Lifelong friend with Putin, whom he lauded as a flawless democrat in 2004.
Russians sunk several barges at the entrance of their naval port pier in Novorossiysk, so that no other Ukrainian drone can enter it.
This also confines the remnants of the Russian Black Sea Fleet to this little basin. Russians literally barricaded themselves. Embarrassing..
🇩🇪 Germany: Russian spy ship seized in Kiel Canal
German special forces boarded the freighter Scanlark in the Kiel Canal, uncovering espionage equipment on board. Investigators suspect the vessel was used by Russia to launch drones over critical infrastructure.
According to authorities, a drone had already been deployed on August 26, 2025, to monitor a German Navy ship. The 40-year-old vessel, officially sailing under the flag of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, is linked to an Estonian operator, while the crew is Russian.
An attack with plausible deniability (ooh it was just some crappy Iranian drones malfunctioning) is exactly the type of attack Russia would do to test and prod NATO resolve.
This is very concerning.
Russia is attacking NATO ally Poland with Iranian shahed drones less than a week after President Trump hosted President Nawrocki at the White House. This is an act of war, and we are grateful to NATO allies for their swift response to war criminal Putin’s continued unprovoked aggression against free and productive nations. I urge President Trump to respond with mandatory sanctions that will bankrupt the Russian war machine and arm Ukraine with weapons capable of striking Russia. Putin is no longer content just losing in Ukraine while bombing mothers and babies, he is now directly testing our resolve in NATO territory. Putin stated that “Russia knows no borders.” Free and prosperous nations will teach Russia about borders.
Important aspect, all the mountains create "radar shadow" that shortens the range of detection of ground-based radars (from NOAA bathymetry map: https://t.co/ba81CLAJDV)
There is a facility in UK law, where if over 100,000 people sign a petition on the government website, there has to be a debate amongst MPs in the Uk House of parliament.
The UK has 632 'Warrior IFVs' about a 1/3 have already been taken out of service, and most of the rest go in the next 18 months. The plan at the moment is to turn them into scrap metal. It would be much better IMO to give these to Ukraine.
Please sign the petition, that was started by @RossRitchie12 It might be sad that we have to plead with our government to send these, but it would be even more sad to do nothing.
Even if you don't line in the UK, please 'like' ''share' and 'comment', all the things that tell the algorithm to show this to more people. Or wright your own tweet with a link directly to your followers.

The first radar pictures released by @CSBiggers and @umbraspace of the Russian Belaya Air Base near Irkutsk have been released. They show the following result:
- Three destroyed Tu-95
- One possible damaged Tu-95
- One destroyed Tu-22M3
- Three destroyed probably Tu-22M3
Russia had (by the end of 2023) 56 active airframes of the Tu-22M3 and 47 active airframes of the Tu-95.
3/8 In March 2022, when talks took place in Istanbul, russia occupied 30% of Ukraine, and it looked like Kyiv might fall. Today, 900,000 russian casualties later—after three years of total war and massive aid from its allies—russia only occupies 19% of Ukraine
European social democracies amassed huge welfare systems last 30 years because they relied on someone else for security (USA), someone else for manufacturing (China), and someone else for cheap commodities (Russia).
What do you think will happen to this model without all of it?
@TerrinaMajnoona@MosabAbuToha Maybe you shouldn’t have started a war, you sad sack of shit. PS: I don’t support autocratic nazi-like governments such as hamas
@MosabAbuToha Very strange you are thinking about someone’s death purely for political reasons, with zero considerations about the dead’s family!
How irrespectful of you!!
@MosabAbuToha Those are two entirely different things. You can report on the tragedy of the killing of this aid worker, without showing the mutilated body for millions to see. Think of the grieving family. You know deep inside that I’m right.
Here is the best-kept secret about U.S. military aid to Ukraine: Most of the money is being spent here in the United States. That’s right: Funds that lawmakers approve to arm Ukraine are not going directly to Ukraine but being used stateside to build new weapons or to replace weapons sent to replace weapons sent to Kyiv from U.S. stockpiles. Of the $68 billion in military and related assistance Congress has approved since Russia invaded Ukraine, almost 90 percent is going to Americans, one analysis found.
