Fun fact, the person responsible for this is a Russian asset, Gerhard Schröder (see 2002 Atomgesetz) and the purpose of the move was to ensure German energy dependence on Russia.

He became chairman of the board of Rosneft and NordStream, and was about to join the board of Gasprom before the war started. He made tens of millions from Russian energy companies and pro-Putin lobbying. Lifelong friend with Putin, whom he lauded as a flawless democrat in 2004.

🇩🇪 Germany: Russian spy ship seized in Kiel Canal

German special forces boarded the freighter Scanlark in the Kiel Canal, uncovering espionage equipment on board. Investigators suspect the vessel was used by Russia to launch drones over critical infrastructure.

According to authorities, a drone had already been deployed on August 26, 2025, to monitor a German Navy ship. The 40-year-old vessel, officially sailing under the flag of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, is linked to an Estonian operator, while the crew is Russian.

There is a facility in UK law, where if over 100,000 people sign a petition on the government website, there has to be a debate amongst MPs in the Uk House of parliament.

The UK has 632 'Warrior IFVs' about a 1/3 have already been taken out of service, and most of the rest go in the next 18 months. The plan at the moment is to turn them into scrap metal. It would be much better IMO to give these to Ukraine.

Please sign the petition, that was started by @RossRitchie12 It might be sad that we have to plead with our government to send these, but it would be even more sad to do nothing.

The first radar pictures released by @CSBiggers and @umbraspace of the Russian Belaya Air Base near Irkutsk have been released. They show the following result:

- Three destroyed Tu-95
- One possible damaged Tu-95
- One destroyed Tu-22M3
- Three destroyed probably Tu-22M3

Russia had (by the end of 2023) 56 active airframes of the Tu-22M3 and 47 active airframes of the Tu-95.
