If there’s one thing I’ve learnt over the past 10 years is that you just do whatever you can to get your hands on some risk capital. That is money, that can be used to take risk , whether it be on your own business or stocks…it has to be done in order to break off the shackles.

Don’t spend time trying to convince potential clients/customers to buy your products or use your services, rather make yourself more visible to the people who are already ready to purchase
It’s important you engage in the real world. Unfortunately. Most FinFluncers are often confident, loud and usually wrong. The web has endless takes, not built for you, newspapers sell fear!

I know we often say adulting is hard but one of the best things about being an adult is that you get to choose. You get to choose your career, your partner, your friends, your community. It’s an active choice. So choose wisely!
For many people their well being is affected and at worse determined by how they compare to those around them…this is called social comparison and is a big drain on the average persons overall happiness.
At some point in life you realise authenticity is beautiful. That People pleasing is exhausting. It’s nice being liked, but at what expense? Inauthenticity? It is by far better to be loved by a few for who you truly are, than to be liked by many for a fake character you play.
