How do you talk to University students about transgender issues?
Linda A. Seidler identified a “man trapped in a female body." She speaks to the personal, intimate aspects of transgenderism, while still looking to God's Word for direction and truth.

Looking forward to the discussion tonight at 9:30pm ET with Jorge Gil on God and evil. We'll be talking about an assumption that both theists and atheists tend to make. Bring your questions and comments. Hope to see you there! Link in the comments.
"I don't have hands to reach out to the world, but I do have a voice." -Daniel Ritchie
We often obsess over what we lack, convinced that our "missing pieces" are what stop us from making an impact. But Daniel Ritchie’s life proves that God doesn't need your hands to move mountains; He just needs your surrender.

At birth, the doctors asked Daniel Ritchie’s father a devastating question: "Do you want us to let him go?" Today, Daniel is an author, evangelist, and a living testament to what happens when we choose courage over comfort.
In this episode, we sit down with Daniel Ritchie to discuss more than just his "aerodynamic" life without arms. We dive deep into the crisis of passivity in modern manhood, the legacy of Charlie Kirk’s courage, and why God doesn’t need your talent—He just needs your availability.
Whether you’re facing a "crucible of suffering" or wondering how God can use your unique story, this conversation is a roadmap for living a life of No Reserve, No Retreat, and No Regret.

"Revolutions are fought by rhetorical strategies as much as battle plans. Words are a means not just of describing reality but of changing it." (p. 32)

They certainly can, and should, be more important issues in some respects. For instance, I don't know of anyone on either side of the political isle who thinks it's actually bad to care for widows, orphans, the poor, and the immigrant. The debate is HOW to care for them and WHAT that care should look like. The same is not true when it comes to abortion and trans issues (the examples you use). For abortion, life or not life is a very different question than, say, immigration policy. For trans issues, reality or delusion is a very different question than, say, government subsidized welfare policy. To conflate these issues as if they're all the same is in fact morally disordered I would think.
