@DerekHansford3 Networking is great in all markets, especially the sports world. The people you know are very, if not more in some cases, important than what you know. #EKUSportsMarketing
#EKUSportsMarketing A tip I would have to be successful in the sport marketing world, know your sport. There’s nothing sports fans hate more than someone who is marketing in that sport, and doesn’t know anything about it. Stay in your lane, don’t try and stretch to every sport..
generation than whenever he was an actual celebrity when he was boxing. It has kept him relevant in peoples eyes. As well as grew a lifelong brand with his grills being a top brand in their market. https://t.co/zbh6FEnx9G
#EKUSportsMarketing A great example of entrepreneurship in the sports world is whenever athletes turn their money into a business to continue growth after their careers. Many athletes such as Venus Williams, Magic Johnson, and more turned to using their name and popularity to...
help grow a business of their own. They can use their fan following to help that business start off, and once people see it and realize it is a quality product, more will continue to join in. George Foreman is a great example, as his grills made him more known in today's...

A great example of a sport org. selling, is whenever @ufc vegan their @Reebok sponsorship. This allowed for them to become more uniform like other major sports leagues, and allowed for fans to buy a uniformed gear set to wear in support of their favorite fighters.
@MrMarketingPhD@Nike Sorry I forgot to add that in. After these ads ran Nike saw increases in online sales as a lot of these ads ran on Hulu and mobile app streaming. As well as running shoe sales by 10% increase as well. #EKUSportsMarketing https://t.co/4YITorXuGN
When @Nike ran their new campaign to get people active and running, they used a more relatable approach. Their main model for this ad was someone who didn’t want to run or be active, but saw how easy it was with the new shoes. This was a success for Nike as they reached an...
A great marketing promotion by a sports team is when @PennStateFball does their iconic white out game. This guarantees a sell out almost everytime and creates an atmosphere topped by no other fan base in the nation. #EKUSportsMarketing
