@e_bloor@nardwuar Congratulations, @nardwuar! And thank you again for showing me around @CiTRradio a “few” years ago - although I still owe you an audition cart - doot doot!
@StuartHumphryes@e_bloor Thank you, @StuartHumphryes, for taking the time to rephotograph my great-great-great-great-grandfather @e_bloor and all the loved ones on this thread. Merry Christmas!
"I'd like to see the BC government put absolute number one priority on getting our economy rolling again."
At last week's AME Town Hall in Vancouver, President & CEO Todd Stone had the chance to talk to AME member Patricia Mohr, commodity expert and developer of the Scotiabank Commodity Price Index, about what it takes to accelerate the mineral exploration and development sector in BC.
@e_bloor The current site of @AME_BC is just right of centre (orange building replaced by orangish-brown one); the roof of the old office might just be barely visible.

Congratulations to @KamloopsExplora on a great #KEG2025 conference that highlighted the importance of grassroots exploration - record attendance and good conversations throughout!
At the #KEG2025 conference, AME Chair Trish Jacques took to the stage to highlight the importance of certainty in the regulatory environment in advancing exploration across British Columbia. The AME team had an excellent time connecting with members and conference attendees and we thank you for your valuable feedback.

Thank you to Minister @JagrupBrar1 for the meeting this morning; we look forward to working closely with the new Ministry of Mining and Critical Minerals.
A successful mineral exploration sector will help government meet its critical mineral and social goals. But there are many challenges facing us.
Today we sat down with newly appointed Minister of Mines and Critical Minerals to talk about solutions. We’re working on behalf of our members to ensure that the Mineral Tenure Act modernization is implemented in a way that is consistent with the justice Ross decision by March 2025. We shared why we can’t afford to get it wrong and how our industry is willing to help build a new path forward that doesn’t leave reconciliation behind.
Thank you to Minister Jagrup Brar for taking the time in your first week to meet with us.

In my oped in BIV, I outline why permitting timelines matter. Delayed permits and the impacts that they have to businesses and communities, hitting the regions the hardest.
