For a long time I’ve believed we need to figure out a way forward that includes major change to political structures municipally and otherwise. I don’t understand why we are quiet about such a vital yet flawed system.
@PictouDM @902MarkC HRM is a sham. But…people don’t vote and/or care enough to demand change. Keep raising your voices! But get louder. Much much much louder. Full-on demonstration would be very valuable. I’m being genuine with this suggestion. @DLynnMatheson @BigJMcC
2007-2012 I pissed off Mayor, CAO (all of them during my time), staff & council by saying under streets everything was probably crumbling & collapse inevitable. Yep was me/I did. Wasn’t as exciting as big buildings though so you know how that ended! @Tim_Bousquet@zwoodford

Small business people should be loudly demanding more off-market housing. They're losing sales because more and more of their customers' income is going to pay higher and higher rents. But I'm not aware that any of the business orgs have taken a political stand on this.
