Back from holidays, delighted to report that I had a fabulous time and that our paper looking at the impact of treatment on the societal costs of Parkinson's disease has been accepted for publication

To creatively insult without actually swearing, just use this Shakespearean Insult Kit. Combine one word from each column, & preface it with “Thou”, to create satisfyingly impolite abuse such as “Thou beslubbering, pottle-deep clotpole” https://t.co/qOzOQmsARQ
On the cover, a Comment by Andrew Morris, President of @acmedsci, highlighting key areas to strengthen & advance UK research.

Both directors out last night for supper with a lovely client, it is always so good to see people IRL rather than on a screen (and have a delicious supper too!). Too busy gassing to take a pic!

Working on a fascinating project about reimbursement for a clinically proven cardiac device across Europe - the difference in reimbursement (both in terms of £ and practicalities) is staggering

Just finished the first draft of a manuscript about a new way to deliver a biologic in a chronic inflammatory disease. Been hard at it all day and in the writing zone, now to send it to the client ! Hope that they like it🤞

We supported our client in writing a poster about an social impact model in Parkinson's disease, which is being presented today at European Academy of Neurology in Helsinki. Love seeing our work out in the big wide world !

Been super busy the last few weeks, delivered on a couple of big projects - NICE Scientific Advice, couple of manuscripts and some economic modelling. Some lovely feedback which makes all the hard work worthwhile.

We supported our client in writing a poster on the management of episodic migraine in the UK - it's at the @theABN_Info Annual Meeting 2024 in Edinburgh, take a look if you are at the conference !

Great meeting yesterday, four agencies all working together for the greater good of our client, fabulous to be sharing ideas and sparking off each other

Been super busy the last few weeks, coming up for air before we get busy again! Double-edged sword having a small business, either too much work or not enough, the magical just right is an elusive thing. Good job we love what we do!

Fabulous (and very enthusiastic) feedback for a project we are working on involving a poster and manuscript about an economic model

I so love this, also like it when a drug is discovered by accident, e.g. Viagra originally developed for hypertension & angina, it was only when patients in the clinical trials had a particular adverse event (ahem 🍆) that it was considered for erectile dysfunction

I love drug name origin stories
A new one for me ;
Heparin - because it was extracted from dog livers
One of my favourites is Nystatin
