I seem to recall, early in the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was insisting that if Ukraine didn’t roll over that there would be massive crop failures and then widespread global famine. And I remember him saying this with even more certainty than his comments about Iran. It is concerning that someone with such prediction deficits is involved in policy making, where the ability to foresee the future accurately and the humility to recognize one’s own blindspots is paramount.

And he’s CLEARING UP confusion around Operation Epic Fury, making three key points:

1. "The United States is conducting an operation to eliminate the threat of Iran's short range ballistic missiles and the threat posed by their Navy particularly to naval assets."

2. "It was abundantly clear that if Iran came under attack by anyone, the United States or Israel or anyone, they were going to respond and respond against the United States."

3. "Third, the assessment was made that if we stood and waited for that attack to come first, before we hit them, we would suffer MUCH higher casualties, and so the President made the very wise decision. We knew that there was going to be an Israeli action, we knew that that would precipitate an attack against American forces, and we knew that if we didn't preemptively strike them before they launched those attacks, we would suffer higher casualties and perhaps even higher for those killed."

Cute quotes, but is it not self-evident that these great patriot and thinkers would’ve understood the implications of a sworn adversary of the United States possessing nuclear weapons and long-range intercontinental ballistic missiles. The world has changed tremendously since their time, and they would’ve understood the situation the same way President Trump does.

Disagree. If this were violence-supporting hatred hurled at another minority group that is part of her “ coalition,” she would undoubtedly be calling for action instead of criticizing language. This rhetoric of hers and other democrat leaders is extremely dangerous. Their refusal to call for immediate action against supporters of a dangerous designated terror group tacitly endorses their right to openly support a violent terror group with total impunity, apart from mild social disapproval/lecturing - which means nothing. AOC has certainly shown that she knows how to call for immediate government action against other people and groups. Ask yourself, why not here? Shouldn’t these terror supporters at least be identified and investigated, as she would certainly demand for a group publicly supporting violent white-supremacist terror groups, etc.? Don’t mistake meaningless words for meaningful action.
